This Policy concerns the Ishmore corporate website. Products such as WanaImba may have separate privacy notices and processes.
Information we collect
- Information you submit: name, email address, optional telephone number, optional organisation, selected enquiry category and your message.
- Related communications: emails, replies and subsequent correspondence connected to your enquiry.
- Basic technical information: our hosting, email and security services may process IP address, browser or device data, request timestamps and diagnostic logs.
- Later discussions: business requirements or other information you voluntarily provide while exploring a potential engagement.
Why we use it
- To receive, evaluate and respond to enquiries.
- To clarify requirements, prepare a proposal or manage pre-contractual discussions.
- To protect the website and correspondence from spam, misuse and security incidents.
- To maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
Submitting an enquiry is optional. A name, working email address and sufficient context are needed for a meaningful response. Phone number and organisation are optional. An enquiry does not create a client contract.
How the contact form is handled
The form forwards a valid enquiry by email and does not save it in a dedicated website database. The message and contact details may nevertheless remain in the receiving email account, replies, short-lived anti-duplication controls and necessary hosting, email-delivery or security logs.
We use a hidden anti-spam field, a signed timing check, link screening and short-lived duplicate protection. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing.
Who may receive the information
Authorised Ishmore representatives responsible for responding to the request may access an enquiry. Website hosting, email, font-delivery and security providers may process limited technical or message data while providing their services. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or competent authorities when appropriately required by law.
We do not sell contact-form information to advertisers. Some service providers may operate outside Zimbabwe, so data may be processed internationally under their service arrangements and applicable safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up a legitimate business discussion, maintain relevant records or comply with law. Information that is no longer needed is reviewed for deletion.
We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, national IDs or sensitive personal information through the general enquiry form.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask how your personal information is used, request access, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, object to relevant processing or request deletion where applicable. You may object to direct marketing without charge.
